Call me a liar if you wish... The ever-elusive lord of wisdom, knowledge, and inspiration. Amygdala is a coy character who always has an ace up his sleeve. He lives to inspire mystery and wonder in others through his odd ways, often sending other more logical minds into a fury as he pulls one inexplicable trick after another. He is frequently described as having something of an unbearable attitude, thanks to his smug grin and refusal to explain himself. Despite this, he is a very social creature and can be a little one-dimensional when it comes to his appearance. He takes hours out of his morning simply to groom for the day. If it has been written, Amygdala is aware of it and can read it word-for-word, whether or not the written piece is open before him. This includes personal grimoires and, unfortunately, passed notes and diaries. This means Amygdala isn't just a miraculous scholar and mage, but also shockingly in the know when it comes to social situations and gossip. And oh, does he love gossip... The imperial is something of an enigma at political meetings. He remains a silent observer, very rarely making a small comment that forces other dragons to reconsider their stance. He will often play devil's advocate during arguments and infuriate Iskam. Some appreciate this, as Amygdala has more than once saved a decision from being made too quickly due to pointing out some opposing points nobody else had thought of. Amygdala almost never proposes laws, and prefers to watch debates unfold before making his decision clear. Said decisions are almost always in opposition to laws which don't consider the consequences. He is good friends with Judas, and can often be found spectating his performances or chatting amicably with him. When not there, he will most likely be in Cepheus's observatory, giving him new tasks or observing the results of the coatl's research. |
