With a family lineage denoting Light nobility, it's only through a bizarre series of misfortunes that Parisa found herself a pauper in the lands of Ice. The passing of her mother left her, her father, and her older sister high and dry when it came to navigating the courts. The family quickly became a laughing stock and was ostracized more and more. When her sister abandoned them, Parisa decided that she would be the one to restore honor and praise to her family's name. Even if it meant finding a mate not for romance but for political gain.

In the end, what began as a trip to find Sornieth's most eligible bachelor landed her in cold water. Literally. The Imperial had to be pulled from a half frozen lake after she fell from the sky-- the cause being her falling asleep mid-flight. Parisa quickly befriended her tender, none other than Ina, and her sickmate, Casus, who had been suffering from a flair of his illness at the same time she was dragged in.

Parisa speaks kindly of her family back home but fears to return to her father without having made any progress towards her goal. This has trapped her in an odd cycle, as she is content to spend the rest of her life on Acreron territory but remains consumed by guilt over abandoning her cause. Remarkably, it is Philo that she often turns to when she misses to air out her worries. This confused just about everyone but most especially Casus.
