The gargantuan founder of the clan, Erroen is a fierce fighter and a strong leader. He always makes time for his family and friends despite his many commitments, however. Branch: Norway maple

As a young adult dragon, Erroen left his mother's clan to start his own. He was unprepared for the dangers of solitude, however, and was defeated again and again by the creatures of the forest in which he attempted to stake a claim for his future clan. He eventually found himself in a cave, injured and exhausted, and passed out. When he came to, a female Tundra dragon named Florelane was tending to his wounds. Erroen immediately recognized her as his charge. They quickly became fast friends, and soon mates, and started their clan together.

_HISTORY_

____He was born in a brutal, unforgiving clan, where hatchlings had to fend for themselves, and the barbaric leader's twisted smile only appeared at the sight of blood. The dark side of nature, he liked to call it in his head. The sun never quite broke the thick canopy of boughs above their dens, and the darkness hid dangers that few hatchlings could hope to survive. Yet, somehow he did survive, learning to climb trees to escape the predators that lurked in each shrub, and learning how to hunt without guidance.

____Once he grew old enough to participate in the riots that the clan called 'meetings', any veil of denial he may have hid behind fell away at the sight of his clanmates in their true forms. They tore at each other tooth and claw when they disagreed, lavished the smell of blood, and killed mercilessly, not to survive, but to entertain.

He was not to speak against the matriarch and her vicious regime. It would earn him execution, if not worse. His only hope of making things right, of fixing this clan of bloodthirsty ravagers, was to overthrow her. He scraped together a few young dragons that agreed with his ideas, and they acted.

_HISTORY_

____He was young. His plan was flawed. His rebellion failed, and he fled with his life and nothing else. The threat rang in his ears as he flew blindly through the dim, thick forest; "If you ever come back, you'll wish we'd kill you!"

He was alone.

____He vowed to his goddess, the Gladekeeper, his voice ringing against the thick, dark trunks of the towering evergreens, that he would start a clan of his own. They would show the world what followers of the Gladekeeper were meant to be, and they would never leave a dragon to suffer and learn to survive alone. He would never abandon anyone who set foot on his territory, hoping for a place of safety. Never.
