Biography
The Frostbite Drakghoul Soul
Among the souls of ghost flight there is a caste system created to organize the spirits. Loyal Souls serve the Wraithseer and never leave there ghostly form since they feel as they could sacrifice their life’s energy for the greater good if need be. The next rung down there are the embodied which are creatures, including dragons, that where born using the energies of many spirits influencing physical organic substances. They too serve the Wraithseer by protecting the land against the next rung of spirits which are referred to as the Wandering who are cannibalistic towards other souls and can eventually become strong enough to attack the living.
While there are three defined castes of ghosts there is one more that no one dares breathe a word about. The Drakghoul’s are a caste all to themselves and they are what happens when the shade manifests itself in a ghost form because of a failed purging. Their mind is sustained through the shade and will not face the decay that The Wandering is subjected too, but they feed off of the living to gain power much like the 3rd caste. More terrifying still is that there is no limit to the amount of energy they can harvest so long as there is a source. The most dangerous aspect of a Drakghoul is you’ll never see them feasting on your soul's energy and once your soul is consumed you physically disappear before your clan-mates eyes. Luckily, a Drakghoul is only created when a shade purging fails which is extremely rare since those taught in the ways of the ghosts go through extensive training, but even then mistakes do occur.
Valfesvia was reborn as an Ice Drakghoul under the influence of her shade mother Lamphira, a Fire Drakghoul, during a failed purging in the ice domain. She is a powerful Drakghoul with a combination the ghost, ice and shade elemental energies at her disposal. Valfesvia is also very hostile and does not discriminate when choosing her prey. Victims of Valfesvia's soul sapping tend to exhibit severe signs of frostbite all over the body. Should you notice any signs of frostbite on any of your clan mates including on fellow ice dragons it is advised the you bulk up on Valfesvia's spirit tag restraints to keep her power in check.
