Biography
Lola remembers. She remembers the history of Sornieth. She remembers the pasts of others. And she remembers the shape that tragedy has taken, again and again, though she still cannot remember her own origin, or that of her beloved mate.
While Lado is lost in the workings of the Wheel, Lola takes charge as the one who truly runs the clan. The day-to-day workings, the petty disputes, the important decisions - they are all her domain, and while few will say it aloud, all consider her to be their Mother.
Sometimes, she feels like she is losing her mate. She had been so proud of her first children - all perfect, all beautiful - but Lado would only acknowledge his firstborn. When she suggested with a heavy heart to her other children that perhaps they were better off seeking their fates elsewhere, they needed little convincing to go. They knew that their mother loved them, but had no desire to stay in a tiny clan with a father who would hardly look their way.
She loves Lado, and knows he loves her. He has a Purpose, and she is here to help him fulfill it. She has a home, and a family, and her memories, and that is all she really needs.
