Dawn has always been eager to search for her Charge. The stories she heard from her birth clansmate about the extent to which they would guard their Charge impressed her. They filled her with a sense of pride and honor. She pitied those who lost their Charge, always reminding her that she would never let her Charge down.

Dawn trained with the warriors of her birth clansmate in order to be stronger. As strong as she could get. Nothing else mattered. Her brashness led to many bruises, accidents, and stern warning from healers. Dawn merely shook them off, coming back more determined and poured more effort into her work out.

The one thing she wasn't looking forward to when her Search would begin was her hoard of shiny, glittery pebbles. It was her hard earned pride and joy. But hoards could be collected again and Dawn picked a few of her favorite pebbles to start her hoard again once her new clan life with her charge would begin.

When the day Dawn became an adult arrived, she bid farewell to her clan and left to start her Search with a small satchel of pebbles. As she traveled, a single prayer echoed through her mind, 'Don't fail'.
