Fangosita, n. Little muddy one. (From "fango", mud, plus "-oso/a", plus "-ito/a"; compare It. "fangosità", muddiness.)

Fangosita is the daughter of Meteia, the daughter of Mishka; her father, Geo, is the son of Grudge. She has four first-gen grandparents.
Fangosita was the last to hatch in her parents' second nest by several minutes; her father was almost not sure she would hatch. Perhaps this worry is why she is the only one of his first seven hatchlings to whom Geo has ever shown any affection.

Fangosita shares her father's primary and tertiary colors and primary and secondary genes, and just her mother's tertiary gene; neither of her maternal grandparents had Spines when Meteia's egg was laid, and though it would have affected nothing, they still did not by the time Fangosita's egg was laid. Both of her parents have one vibrant color, and both are exceptionally extraverted; though they're happy Fangosita has chosen to stay near them, they don't really understand their drab, deeply introverted daughter.

Her clutchmates are Rodochrosita (pink and fire!), Barreiro (white toxin!), and Quadrotriticale (black cherub!), none of whom had any interest in remaining with the Solar Solar. Indeed, Quadrotriticale left before she'd had three meals with her birth clan. (Fangosita is told that the younger of her parents' first two eggs, Secretsand, resembled her somewhat, or that she resembles him, but he left the day he was hatched and has not returned to visit.)

She and Mauve, Zedan's son, had a nest together; three Mirrors, two boys. The first to hatch they named Elder Brother, and the last to hatch they named Child, while the second to hatch they named Delicious. Their next nest had only one egg in it, a Pearlcatcher boy; they named him Delicious as well, so that they'd have had both a girl and a boy named Delicious.

Delicious (the boy) went on to have a nest with Kvara before leaving for the Lightweaver's calling; two of that nest followed him, but the third, Canthuion, remained. Canthuion and Quinta had a nest together, and Sixta (Fangosita's great-granddaughter!) is the ultimate heir of the Founders of the Solar Solar.
