Personality
Hestia Jones has a taste for adventure, a flair for the unknown, and a wild energy that makes her a fun dragon to be around. She tells the best funny stories and enjoys good jokes. She's a survivalist and knows how to get herself out of tight situations. With an optimistic view for the future, she's a good influence on both Pern and Hadley and usually can get them to participate in group deliveries if Pern is being stubborn and Hadley is being crazy.

She enjoys working with her colleagues and counts them as her friends. Both Pern and Hadley have crushes on her that she does not know about. Pern will probably never admit this to her unless Hadley comes out to express his feelings if he ever realizes what they mean. Oddly enough Hestia actually admires Pitch as one of her best friends and is never dulled by his stories.

History
Although originally born in the Sunbeam Ruins, Hestia doesn't have many memories of the glittering ruins because not long after she hatched she was taken away to a small hut in the Shrieking Wilds. She doesn't remember who brought her to the Labyrinth but only that they had been frightened of something and disappeared as soon as they dropped her with the hermit living in the hut. The hermit, as it turned out, was a kind old Wildclaw who was estranged from his immediate family and was living out in the boon docks because he liked the solitude. He was hesitant about taking care of the little coatl but since her guardian dragon had departed immediately he didn't have much choice. Although they developed more of a student-mentor relationship Hestia grew to calling him "Pops" quickly, much to Pops irritation (he wasn't that old.)

Pops taught her the ropes of the jungle and she became a regular wild woman swinging through the trees and talking to all the critters she found along the way. The draw of open adventure outside the jungle eventually took hold of her however and when old enough, Hestia took to the winds and went out to see the world. Pops made her promise to come back and visit often. She found a wind clan with a post and delivery service that would allow her to travel to and from the the Viridian Labyrinth and get paid for it!
