Biography

Captian Zim

"I do not play games," the good Captain states very calmly, all the while leering at you with an intensity that causes your flesh to crawl.

Guardian: Enforcer Captain | Mate: Serin & Lycima | Story: WIP

vs8olIU.png WIP put the wordy words here. Need something good to say!
  • Down to Sornieth kinda drake/serious to a fault
  • Lets his funny side show only around family
  • Can be unnerving to those who do not know him
  • Secretly prods Lycima into playing her jokes
  • Eases up once he knows someone and will engage in casual humor and conversation (which makes him a great deal less scary)
  • Second in command of the Enforcers
  • In a relationship with Serin (Primary mate) and Lycima
  • Will be the escort for Inima during her stay in Whisperwind City
  • Is rather mopey (more then usually) right now because he and his family have just lost another clutch. They are having a very hard time conceiving and when this clutch was born they were all very hopeful of fruition. This was not the case... or so they thought.
  • Is very worried he will not be able to produce young with the two dragoness he loves with all his heart. This is causing serious depression, which is pulling him away and to the office more.
  • Serin and Lycima are becoming concerned about his withdrawn nature, for that matter so is Myaac and the rest of his friends in the Enforcers. They have started petitioning the Priests to see if they can get him some help.
  • The reason Zim is so upset about the clutch is because this time he suspects something else happened, though he does not have the clarity of mind to prove it.
  • He is assigned to Olexia and after talking to him about his suspicions about his lost clutch (...what's different this time, Zim? Zim turns his moist eyes up to the Guardian, taking a moment to sooth his frazzled nerves with her loving eyes and patient smile. "I held them in my claws, Olexia. I could feel their strong hearts beat against my palms. They were eager, happy babies and then all of the sudden they were not." He turned away from his therapist. "It didn't make sense!" he voice rose to a level he hadn't intended, causing him to clear his throat in an attempt to settle his budding frustration. "I have seen egg rot before, and that looked well too advanced to have happened overnight." Olexia nodded her large head in understanding. "I can see where that would seem suspicious, but I have seen worse cases of rot, Zim--- "It doesn't feel right, Olexia! The nest keepers continued to say that as well, but even they had doubt in their eye. I just can't figure it out." Zim set himself to pacing only to be stopped by a gentle paw. "All right, how about this. I'll set Maeve on the case, a fresh set of eyes might be able to see what clouded ones cannot, yes?" Zim, stunned at the suggestion a private detective could do the job over him, stood there motionless. It took a moment for the logic of the suggestion to sink in. He was unwilling to involve any of his men, for fear that they would just pity what they see as his mourning. This is why he's not even told Myaac about it, they all would just seem him losing his mind. Honestly, using Maeve would settle the issue once and for all. Reluctantly, he nodded agreeance with the suggestion. "Good, then while she's doing her investigation, you will see me regularly so we can help you through everything else," Olexia added her stipulation. Zim again reluctantly agreed to it....)
  • Maeve immediately gets on the case, hoping to ease the good Captain of his strain and much to her woe discoverers almost immediately that he might be right. Her initial investigation lead her straight to the nest keepers, who confessed right off that something didn't seem right about the rot. Talos explained that the eggs had been healthy up until that evening and there had been no signs of rot attacking the unborns. Though, they had seen evidence of rot acting extremely fast, it still seemed odd, so they called the healers to investigate. Softpaw was lead of that examination and she confessed things seemed confusing. The rot virus had been well and dead when the eggs were brought to her for examination, to her and the other healers it seemed suspect. But again, a case similar to it had been witnessed before so they had no proof to offer to contradict the eggs perished due to anything but the rot. Though, they did call in the enforcers, while trying to be discreet so not to upset the parents. The enforcer that came to investigate seemed flippant at best and shortly after starting the investigation, ended it. Maeve eventually tracked down the original investigator to question them (no clue who yet), they seem suspect right off and not concerned at all. Looking into their background more she discovered that they were likely corrupted. During this time she discovered the eldest of the Gaoler's was looking into the case as well. She was then introduced to Altair and realized if the boy lived then his sibling likely did as well. Yepa asks for help finding the perpetrator so she and Mista were not accused to drakenapping the cubs. Being as she knew the two newcomers to the region had nothing to do with it she agreed to help.
