backstory
Catcher lived in her Lightning clan for the first years of her live, enjoying the friends she made and the close ties she had with her parents. Her clan slowly began slacking on the heavy workload they provided themselves with. Everyone slowly went hungry, running on stress, more and more dragons left as the days went on. The clan collapsed, and she was forced to leave. Catcher, being a teen, wasn't sure of what to do. She worked as a freelance carpenter, in return she got treasure and food. At the end of the day, she'd hitch a ride with the courier or anyone with a wagon.
As she began to approach the shores, where Water and Lightning met, she knew she had a problem. Well over a year had passed since she had left her clan. She knew she didn't want to stay in Lightning her whole life, she felt too... Outcasted to want to stay. She stayed the night on the shore. She can't remember being so cold in all her life.
Catcher awoke to the sound of the chatter of multiple dragons. As the blur around her vision went away, she mistook it for a small clan at first. Once she looked more at her surroundings, she noticed the huge steam boat that dragons were lining up to get on.
As soon as she could grab her bag she was in line.
"So..." Catcher began saying to the lanky skydancer ahead of her in line, "where's this boat heading to?"
The skydancer chuckled to herself quickly before her reply, "this is a water taxi, my dear. You tell your destination to that gentleman up there, the one in the suit, he adds it to a list, gives you your ticket, and you're on your way," she had a distinctly 'mom' voice.
A wildclaw hatchling caught her eye, she was tugging on the leg of the skydancer.
"Is she yours?" Catcher smiled as she met eyes with the hatchling.
"Yes she is, this is Edriei," the skydancer picked her up "now, where are you off to, miss...?"
"Catcher," she said with a smile, "Edriei was my mother's name. I have no clear destination in mind"
"Miss Catcher" the skydancer finished, "I'm off to the Nature flight to visit some relatives."
They continued talking as the line behind them grew and the line before them shrunk. Soon, she was waving by to that nice skydancer and her hatchling as they both boarded the boat. It was her turn.
"Hello miss," said the gentleman in the suit. He was cute. "Where are you heading?"
Shoot, she didn't think of a place while in line. She thought of the hatchling she had just met, what flight was she from? She had the brightest green eyes she had ever seen.
"Wind." Catcher said, barely thinking.
"Ah, that's a great flight," he said, writing down 'Wind' on a steadily growing list of places. She handed over a good amount of her treasure in exchange for a ticket. Next thing she knew, she was on the boat.
A few long months later, she stepped foot on a dock. Everything was greener, brighter. She hadn't seen anything so amazing in her life in Lightning.
It was only a few weeks later she met Seeker and Kaiser, two dragons with a goal.

Current
Catcher works as a carpenter, give her a task of building it and she'll do it, no help required. She uses her determination and kindness in other ways aside from making a den for the newest clan member, she's quickly become friends with virtually everyone.
She wasn't always the fun loving Catcher the clan has come to know, Catcher was the physical victim of Memory's rage and temper. She was knocked out, thrown around like a rag doll, before being slammed into one of the many ledges that make up the clan territory. She only suffered a concussion and some major bruises, but nothing that wouldn't heal. As she recovered, she locked herself in her den and became wary of any visitors. As she began physically healing, she began mentally healing too.
Catcher and Memory aren't quite best friends, they do call each other a friend. As Memory began improving, she began seeing her differently.
Catcher doesn't think about her history as much as some of her clan members, she does think of her parents from time to time. Are they even alive? She doesn't think she'll ever know. She received letters of her old clan being rebuilt, then months later receiving another letter notifying her of their failure. She thinks of visiting them someday.
