Memory hazy, fogged up, and discarded, Melee is the shell of a great Imperial. He stands unquestionably and without hesitation at Mordred’s side, serving as his loyal filthy lowborn dog and playing as his mate both within the public eye and out.
It’s been this way as long as she could remember, memories tainted and curled in favor of Mordred. The dashing ridgeback’s enthrallment held the Imperial steadfast to him, even causing her to be obsessed and overly smitten with him. Covering her dark scales are luxurious silks and baubles given by her mate out of a prideful sort of affection. Mordred will not be seen with anyone less than the best, and hereby expects his tamed dog to appear just as prim and proper as he. She never minded the intense grooming and expectations though, always patiently standing by his master’s even after any sort of violent display of displeasure at her actions or appearances.

Melee only has a mind for her beloved Mordred, and unwaveringly carries out the tasks that he assigns her to, be it disposing of a problem, seducing an enemy to topple them, or simply commiting the foulest of sins to remain by Mordred’s side. She for one does not mind this arrangement, the strange coaxingly silver lined voice that dwells around her mist begotten mind loved teaching Melee the thrills of complete submissive obedience to her master, and the harshly deserved penalty for even toeing the line of being filthy and unworthy of being called such a handsome dragon’s mate.
Even now, Mordred’s iron grip on her stays unfalteringly strong, the Imperial guard dog relishing the moments she gets to spend with her master, and keeping him as contented as her broken and self-destructive conscious can.
