You’ll bow to me soon enough.”

Proud and Brash, Mordred is the more prominent one of the Black Magic twins. He prefers to lure in others with darkly ambitious ideology and brilliant charisma to get others under his thrall, using them for his own toxic gain. Mordred’s pride is what drives his ever growing craving for power and regality, his need for absolute dominance leading him to overtaking other clans and commanding them as his puppets and pawns from the shadows. Him and his sister Morrigan are quite alike in this aspect, the two harsh puppet masters that slink in the shadows of Sornith to tug at the strings as they feel is needed.

Mordred’s rise to power started the week he was hatched with his sister, the two’s eggs corrupted early on by their father’s vampiristic traits and their Mother’s weakness to the Shade’s influences. Their fate was almost sealed when they could hear the thousand of demanding voices speaking as one. It wasn’t soon that Morrigan and Mordred became outcasts in their own clan, speaking in hushed tones to themselves and muttering to each other silently in the shadows while they communed with the voices beyond.
It wasn’t until adulthood that their magic flourished, color and effectiveness tainted by the roiling beast that was slowly overtaking their souls and minds. With discipline and training, the twins learned how to dominate and control their shadeborne magic, silently honing their spell casting to deadly and precise perfection under the cover of the darkest shadows. It was long into their adult life that the twins learned the art of enthralling other creatures to do their bidding. Each Thrall lasted longer than the last as they worked slowly and patiently on this new project, first succumbing prey animals and hatchlings under their spells before moving on to beastclan members and familiars. Soon did they learn that they could enthrall older, much stronger dragons to do their bidding. They found that the weaker-minded one dragon was, the easier it was for the twins to hold their influence over them.

This grotesque experimentation of stripping freewill finally met its peak when two rowdy Imperials, twins, were brought into the clan to be raised and loved. Morrigan and Mordred brought it upon themselves to test out a theory of their own, taking in the second pair of darkly colored twins into their own black magic tainted dens in the deepest section of the lairs. Months of being put under thrall and injected slowly with pleasurably destructive and tainting shade magic slowly broke down the Imperial twin’s minds, until they were little more than flesh and blood puppets doing the bidding of their masters both within and outside. Mordred took his thrall as a mate to deter any other suiters from approaching him until he was ready to accept as many as he please after becoming a god in his eyes, as well that he had an undeniably sadistic attraction to his broken little butterfly.
Presently Mordred stands strong with his Thrall behind him and many strings connected at his claws, the witch always quietly backed by the same etherwordly chaotic patron as his sister.
