╰━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━╯Scogel doesn't mess around, he is wise and sensible for his age, and commands respect from his clanmates. Knowing that Idavale and Fenris still have a lot to learn in the ways of leadership, Scogel is not a dragon you would want on their bad side, he is terse and brief when he scolds, and when he does, you don't just hear it, you feel it. Scogel comes off as a serious and deliberate kind of dragon, though he has a soft side for the ones he trusts, like Nuage. He misses his own favorite sons, Nightwing and Aris, one was banished the other traveled to exaltation. He would give anything to have them back again. ╭━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━╮
Early Years
╰━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━╯Scogel was born within the Ice flight, not with magical ability, but a fighter's strength, and an intelligent mind. He was the eldest of four hatchlings, seemingly the favorite for his father, Athens, but was quite the opposite. Athens was an aggressive leader who killed and sacrificed more than he needed to quite often. Athens desired strong, male hatchlings to be his offspring. Scogel, it seemed, had too much brain in him, not enough brawn. So Athens worshipped his two younger brothers, and never gave a glance at his younger sister, who vanished without a trace at a young age. Scogel grew up to be shunned by his own father, and had a mother that followed Athens's beliefs strongly. His brothers, Jumal and Bleddian, taunted him day after day, mocking him to his face. Scogel's hate and anger boiled hot within him, scratching at his insides to burst out in a fit of rage, but Scogel suppressed it until the right moment. One night when the moon was unable to see, Scogel ambushed his father in his den, landing a killing strike to his throat as he slept. Realizing what he had just done, he flew as far away from his home as he could, stumbling across Ameyla and Jurny in the Lightning Flight, and hiding out there, not knowing what his future could hold. ╭━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━╮

╰━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━╯Scogel fights beasts and creatures with Ameyla and Jurny to make himself stronger, and to prepare himself for the day he might have to face his family again. Though through Nuage's patient counseling, Scogel has found better peace with what he has done, and now is looked up to by many of the clan, always a steady voice in the center of conflict. Scogel is proud of how far he has come, and knows that he could have never made it without Nuage. ╭━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━╮

╰━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━╯Scogel's family in the ice flight were as cold as they come, most hatchlings that weren't open to fighting and living under the direct influence of another were culled off, to make room for new warriors. Scogel hated his family, but also wanted to live, he saw a land across the frigid ocean, heard tales of merchants and travelers who have seen the deep corners of every flight, Scogel held onto their every word. This pushed him to try to escape his home. ╭━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━╮

╰━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━╯Pearl catchers are not usually built for fighting, but Scogel's parents had none of that. They froze his whiskers off so no opponent could grab hold of them, and sharpened his horn into more of a blade. It was an extremely painful procedure, completed over days or maybe weeks of cutting down hypersensitive whiskers, and holding found dragons down as their horns were sharpened. It was cruel, inhumane, and horrible. To top it all off, when he was newly hatched, his parents threw his pearl into the cold ocean, believing it would slow him down in the long run. This pearl has since been replaced by a expertly crafted gold engraved sphere. Though it is still a scarred memory, like his nonexistent whiskers, which are still sensitive to any feeling, and his ever-pointed horn, his forever-lost true pearl, always reminding him of whence he came. ╭━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━╮

Anyone who dares to cross him, steal from him, or hurt him, will promptly have a few scars and bad memories of Scogel, with bounty hunters on their tail. Scogel used to fight and battle with Jurny and Ameyla whenever they did, but with his responsibilities he has to focus more on his profession, even if it's just paperwork and politics.
He has many offspring, and is always overjoyed when he hears from them, though there is one of his children that he can't seem to forget, Nightwing. The first son he had, Nightwing was always so proud of his father and appeared to make him, Nuage, and Scogel the perfect family. Unfortunately, Nightwing was neglectful towards his hatchlings with Cirrus, and ended up being heavily insulted by Iriluna, who announced to the whole clan how Nightwing was not suited to live. Scogel could not disagree with some of the things she said, and agreed to let his son leave, their perfect life was shattered. He still had another son, Aris, whom was as buoyant and friendly as they come, though he left as well, depressed after his older brother was banished and left with his mate, Zetonah.
