Mustang is a robot who's inventor is unknown. He came to the clan seeking clues on his origin, as a horrible accident caused him to black out and lose all of his memory files on his early life. After acknowledging the comfort and hospitality the clan's leaders gave him, he decided to live there until he found his true home, though secretly he doesn't want to leave, for he loves the new friends he made far too much to abandon them.
He is a subject for many of the studious dragons in the clan, especially those interested in technology like Primrose and Nemesis. He is quite the strange contraption, as his antique-styled body model and equipment leads most to believe that he was made many years ago with outdated technology, though his purpose and function remains a mystery.
While he moves with jerky, ragged movements just like a cheap animatronic, he seems to think, feel, and speak like a flesh-and-blood dragon. Certain conspiracy theorists even believe that he was once a living dragon whose spirit is now trapped in the body of an old robot. But that only happens in TV, doesn't it...?
Oh, also he's obsessed with cowboys and the wild west for some reason. Nobody can explain that either, but it certainly makes him seem cooler to dragons like Ruby.
