-Sir Gilbert the Magician- King of the Curious
The Quest of Sir Gilbert:
Born under the Lightweaver's brilliance, Gilbert found his home among the Clan of Five Kings quite well, leading them once their original Deacon of Light had left to serve the Lightweaver. Although Gilbert cared not for many of his Kin of Light, there was one, however, in the realm of light that caught his attention.
He came to the old home of his friend, sorrowful and weeping, discovering her. She was laying among two other Guardian dragons, each of them looking battleworn and angry. The Guardian nodded at his approach, and smiled.
What bad circumstances were these.
She spoke to him, told him of her plan. To live a life that would make their fallen comrade proud, to seek the light and guide those seeking to it. She devised a council, wanting many of the scattered clan to come and take part.
A council would not work, not function. The congregation would squabble and nothing would be done. He told her that there must be an order higher. That five of them would have to be the masters and make the choices.
There was a pause, and she smiled.
The King of the Curious loves putting on a show for events.
