______ DAVE is partway between the Converted and a robot. Its body is artificial in it's entirety. Though he claims he still has a living brain, there is no way to verify this. Made of a combination of force-grown flesh and skin-textured plastic its body contains both functional organs and mechanical replacements in a true testament to Galvani's art. He resembles in every way the coatl hatchling that died of hypothermia shortly on arrival in the Lair and shares all of their memories. Yet there are those who feel the mechanical Coatl with its occasional spasms and crackling mechanical speech is an entirely new creation rather than an advanced prosthetic, one who merely believes they are still a living being. This is an impression DAVE does nothing to dispel and may in fact be actively cultivating, alternating referring to himself as "he/him" and "it/its" and wreaking havoc with his cruel sense of humor caused by his own sense of self-loathing and jealousy of dragons possessing their own bodies. DAVE is manipulative, dishonest and often sarcastic but it maintains a professional focus on its work of compiling information, though it prefers to keep the sum of knowledge to itself and let others find out only what they need to know. It speaks in a very casual manner some of the older dragons find rude and is constantly bragging of its own intelligence. His speech is marred by crackling and feedback that can make him hard to understand, when agitated this feedback becomes worse. The feedback also grows particularly strong when it swears.

______ Though being known for trying to deliberately provoke other dragons it dislikes picking on those, in its own words, 'unarmed in a battle of wits'. Those that genuinely try to befriend him, such as Science, find he is a steadfast friend to those he considers worthy. He is particularly close to Noiz, finding a kindred spirit in the Nocturne and the two are often seen together. His pet project is a re-purposed Sentry Squawker found in a junkyard and repaired by his own hands that he calls Chatbot. The obnoxious little robot is a talented mimic of a wide variety of beeps, whistles and simple tunes.
