Being born into the dizzying heights of the Cloudsong did nothing to deter June's passion for water. He would seek it out no matter where he was (or where it was) and dive right in. Initially, his parents worried this might be a symptom of some as-of-yet-unknown affliction, but they quickly realized that he was merely an odd boy with an odd love. Soon enough, their neighbors realized this, too, and were happy to let him go about his business.

But pools and ponds would not satisfy him for long. He had always wanted to live by the sea, and his home in the Cloudsong simply couldn't fulfill this dream. Thus, he bid his family farewell and struck out for the Sea of a Thousand Currents.

He was not disappointed. It was, by far, the most beautiful thing he'd ever set eyes on. For months, he traveled up and down the coast, meeting dragons from all walks of life, before stumbling across Clan Feldspar. The water there was the clearest he'd seen yet, and there was a thriving ecosystem of aquatic life that couldn't be found anywhere else. Immediately, he fell in love and begged to be allowed to join the clan.

Banrai, being the soft-hearted drake he is, couldn't refuse him. June built himself a little house by the sea, with help from his clanmates, and finally achieved his dream of living on the water. He now spends his days lounging around in the sun, conversing with the local Maren, and helping his mate, Risen, tend his lines. What a charmed life.
