FIFTY WORDS FOR MURDER; AND I'M EVERY ONE OF THEM.
♡ The clan leader... loosely. Though no one remembers where he came from, the only truth of his past is he was a loyal Nocturne to the Shadowbinder before abruptly fleeing to the Shifting Expanse, making his clan's home in the dark underbrush that reminds many of the Tangled Woods that he originally called home. His morbid attitude and impulsive nature means that few take him seriously, but Jamie is not to be underestimated or taken lightly -- with the exception of the most powerful and mysterious mage-alligned dragons, taken in by his own recommendation, none in clan Nohr can go toe to toe with him in a magic fight.
...Not that you'll ever probably get him that mad, as he spends most of his time teasing his clan and goofing off.
As well as organizing the clan in general, he also established the Flight Representative Project, or FRP in Nohr; the group of dragons that visit the fellow Flights during the respective holidays, to help set up various activities and assist in the daunting task of training dragons for their deity. Jamie himself serves as one, if not the only representative of the Shadowbinder in the clan -- mostly as he still has good relations with her, although he's long since accepted and enjoyed being under the Stormcatcher.
♡ Despite his goofy, sly demeanor, he does carry a heavy burden upon his back. Both as clan leader and one of the only three dragons to know clan Nohr's original, tragic history, he spends most of his energy and magic teasing the rest of his clan as a method of coping with his own severe issues and suffering. Being forced to flee his original home in the Tangled Woods abruptly following several other dragon clans' foreshadowed, but still unexpected repeated attacks on him and his clanmates, Jamie was forced to take whatever dragons he could rouse fastest in the dead of night and whatever provisions he could to flee to the Shifting Expanse, a month-long journey that only three dragons came out of - Rafiel, his adopted mother; Himself, suddenly burdened with the task of leading a fractured clan; and Marisa, who would hibernate for over three years due to the trauma of the journey. With no relations to other clans due to being forced to flee practically everyone they'd ever known, the task of rebuilding was daunting.
♡ But rebuild they did. Bit by bit, regrouping treasure, training the Exalters and establishing a steady and slow income that rapidly began to get faster, under Jamie's shaky leadership Nohr began to thrive much more than ever before, enjoying the Shifting Expanse's constant evolution and the Lightning energy that crackled through the air. Now, clan Nohr thrives and bolsters under the Stormcatcher, brimming with various energy and relations to the other flights and fellow clans, a future that the Nocturne never viewed as possible before.
♡ While Rafiel argues that the full history should be written down for the generations to come, Jamie argues that the legacy of betrayal, backstabbing, and outright murder they've experienced should be allowed to fade into true obscurity. Unfortunately, newer clan members get more and more curious, and he was eventually forced to concede and quietly ask Cradle and CQ to establish the Tangled Woods metro-line, a line that will eventually get a stop in the Sunbeam Ruins to visit a few neighboring clans of good relation to Nohr. He still refuses to elaborate on the past, but a few clever dragons have pieced together the unpretty picture by now.
