Taking after her grandfather, Nialaine is a mercenary as cold, distant, and inexorable as the dawn over snow-covered peaks. She was born and raised in Val-ar-Aion, though her ruthlessness came from elsewhere. The mystery of her orchid-coloured eyes baffles the clan's clerics to this day; even her magic is not that of Light. Perhaps strange starlight fell on the night she hatched, or perhaps, like many of Harthrenain's issue, she is simply touched by something beyond the ken of Light's scholars. Like Asmodeia, and others of the distant Starfall province, she is able to move time in strange ways, and uses this to her advantage on the battlefield: she is a veritable hurricane of destruction then, wheeling and weaving bloody-feathered like a mad dove through a sea of foes. Those pilgrims that seek to join the Lightweaver's honor guard may find themselves in her custody for a time. As a trainer, she is almost as merciless with her charges as she is with her enemies.
