Bell-maker. Only uses white or clear crystals without flaws, makes bells for all purposes. Don't mention to her that there is a giant crack/flaw in the center of her pearl. Just don't do it.
Received a delicate pink rose from an anonymous admirer, and has discovered that is enchanted to never wilt.
She suspects who the giver is, but he has not made himself known yet and she doesn't want to out him before he is ready.
She surprised Vastrom by gifting him a delicate ivory claw-pen before he could even propose to her; she sees dark shade-like creatures beyond the border, much as Lysterros and several others do, and her bells have the odd quality of driving them away. Except for in her nightmares, where they come and consume all that she knows and loves.
Vastrom has proven quite adept at knowing when she is having a nightmare, and has taken to keeping vigil and waking her when the night terrors begin.
She wears the ring of Princess Katarina, Vastrom's mother, with humble gratitude; Vastrom himself gave it to her three nights after receiving it from his father. Both youths now wear symbols of Katarina's memory, and both strive ever onward to ensure she is not forgotten. Often, Sabriel will run a fingertip over the engraved symbol on the spinel, and feel as though someone - a motherly figure, perhaps - is smiling at her. Those days, she does not have nightmares.
