December has always been small, in fact she was the smallest wildclaw in her home clan, a runt by all definitions. The only thing unusual about her was her pale colours, her dainty genes, and her unusually large wingspan. So when she had a price tag attached to her before being brought to the market she saw nothing odd or unusual about it. She had been bred to sell, preferably quickly, and if not she'd be sent away and banished. It was the fate that befell all who failed to sell for a pretty penny.

What did surprise her however was when she sold just as quickly as her more refined and stronger sister, she was in shock. Then terror as she realized she had to be trained before leaving. All dragons were trained before banishment, and if not, how would she be of use to her new clan? She was a runt. Not a warrior. She'd fail after reaching her new clan and be banished for sure. So when she arrived at her new home she made sure that all of her belongings were nearby, ready to be grabbed in a rush as she was forced out.

She was set to refine with Rosanna, an imperial who although once was loyal now only knew pain and darkness. Still the two grew close, right up until Rosanne snapped and turned on the clan, she was then forced to turn on her mentor and drive her out.

After that she slowly came to realize her value. Although she was small she was also light on her feet and cunning, able to dispose of foes many times her size. Soon she took over Rosanne's old role, Commander of the Guard and now helps protect the clan and train young to defend themselves.
