 The Dramatic Persona ''He was a completely different person on stage as he was off it. In the glow of the spotlights he played everything from a doddering old man who no longer knew his name, to the most infuriating of dandies with swishing flower petals and fluffy feather boas. In every role across the board he seemed perfectly at home, whether he was sashaying across the stage, tossing sweet nothings into the air with every sentence - or miming a staggering, flailing death upon a traitor’s knife. But behind the protective curtains of the stage he sometimes looked into the mirror and came up uncertain, unsure as to his own person, his own self that lay behind the various masks he wore, that hid him so well from the world and also from himself. The dramatic exclamations and theatrical gestures of the limelight left only illusory shadows when stripped away, after all, and shadows themselves were only insubstantial.” || ❤ || Lively and full of spirited vigour, Cecil is the clan’s resident theatrical genius, able to imitate just about any character stereotype there is and pulling it off perfectly. In fact, it’s his unfailingly zesty ability to be dramatic that has gained him his nickname, and he often appears to be an exasperating mix of showy socialite and graceful gentleman, utterly in his element whether he's in a crowded, grind-against-each-other nightclub or in a high-class tea-shop complete with the finest bone china cups. However, when he’s out of the limelight, he often seems rather uncertain about just what he himself is like beneath all the dramatics.
