Amira's name was bestowed upon her by L in a glorious ceremony. Her parents, Favor and Grace, are L's most trusted advisors, forever remaining loyal to her true vision, disconnected as they are from the rest of the world.

It's remained a secret how Amira ended up in the folds of Hewn City. The few who may know why respect Amira enough to never tell. She has made Hewn City her home (though achingly she may gaze at the very few rays of light that filter through Cahaya's leaves when no one is around)

Even in the cursed shadows, her light cannot be extinguished. She mimics L in that way. Many lost for years have found their way into her clan, most saying they were drawn to the tree at their most trying times. Most unknowingly were drawn to her.

During her day-to-day involvement with the clan, they see her as a radiant, beautiful, kind leader, offering up peaceful residence and a place of rest. Her energy is soothing, compassionate, often leaving even the most secretive to tell her their darkest stories and long-kept-quiet promises.

Her real rule comes in the form of whispers and suggestions. She asks for small kindnesses, favors promised with rewards often close to the chosen's heart. All of them seem trivial, small. No one has problems doing the tasks she sets forth, or asking what they are for. Everything happen exactly to Amira's desire, no one seeing the bigger picture of what they're contributing to except for her.

No one able to pin exactly who caused what once everything falls into place.
It's her version of peace, the overall picture. Not to say she doesn't make mistakes, but that is her burden to hold.

Their home is carved into a giant tree known as Cahaya, though it's unknown how the tree is still alive - clearly magic is involved, but how much?
