Coming from a particularly strong and storied bloodline known for powerful personalities with warrior-type characteristics, Skynna is instead quite a gentle-hearted, caring, and shy fellow – like his father, from whom he gets most of his looks. When he gets anxious, however, he scrunches up his face in a spectacular show of furrowed brows and darkened eyes that leads most who encounter him to believe he dislikes everyone around him. It’s a reflex he’s developed as a kind of defense mechanism, and one he can’t seem to shed. |

Because of his gentler personality, Skynna had a hard time fitting in with his home clan. Eventually, he decided he needed to find a new home where he could live quietly without the unintentional pressure to become a warrior as his mother and grandmother had become. Not one for getting on with parting words, he took off in the middle of the night, leaving behind only a small note for his family to find. As is proper for one of his age, he spent several months traveling about trying to ‘find himself.’ Eventually, he stumbled upon the sprawling Cliffside city of the Allbright Balconies and decided that he might as well set up residence in a somewhat questionable quarter where he could reliably be left to his own devices. It was nice, for a while, until his distant cousin Berno found his little home; he loves his cousin, sure, but he just doesn’t have the kind of stamina this social butterfly of a boy does, and often tires of Berno’s attempts to introduce him to new friends.
