ElevatorButtons always thought her name was a bit odd, but she embraced it, the speckling and spots across her body and wings could indeed resemble such buttons. Like an elevator, the mirror loved the symbolism of going up and up. She is a high flyer, always daring and darting up above the clouds. Coming from a clan of wind, she loved to soar, in balloons, in flying machines and kites, or just soaring herself as far as her wings will carry her.
In the lofty heights, it often gets chilly, so Buttons is always found in her full aviator gear, along with a few rogue pieces to cover some neglected areas. In addition, one always knows she plans on going for a high flight when the warm woolly gear gets taken out, which is often. Luckily, it doesn't get too dirty high up in the skies, otherwise she'd be spending most of her days scrubbing the whites of her outfit clean again! Although she doesn't stay for long, she calls the Tangled Wood her home, and comes back to Sylvan Shadows as often as possible to share her tales of high flights and adventure. She often sees things and hears news of events before they arrive otherwise, and brings the news back to the clan. Buttons has made good friends within the clan, especially with the clan's story teller, Midnight. He enjoys hearing of her tales and weaves them into his stories. When she is home, the two are almost inseparable, and some often think they may be mates if it wasn't for the fact that she is gone more often than not. On one of her flights, she befriended a mith of a different color, one that fit in with her own attire and coloration near perfectly. The mith, Nimbus, has since never been far from her side, joining in her flights and enjoying the adventures. On another of her more recent adventures, she stayed with a clan in the Starfall Isles. After a brief stay at Crosiafall, she returned with more confidence and strength, taking advantage of the training the clan offered. She was also slightly hyper from a double shot of espresso, and since then, she hasn't been seen without one, enjoying the energy that helped her soar to even higher heights.
