Kind of a shame, really.

Tries to be a supreme agent of destruction and darkness. Really, he tries. He keeps messing up his grand entrances and villainous monologues, but he's totally there for you if you need a bit of necromancy or demon summoning or whatever. Totally.

Has a love of fairy tales. Somewhat gullible. Very proud of himself whenever he summons something considerably awesome.

Has been banned from receiving packages in Byzmara's courier system, in the interest of cutting off access to certain spellcasting resources. This hasn't deterred him one bit.


Enjoys visiting his brother Tiberius at odd hours without warning and admires him for his intelligence and "scholarly-ness."

Also admires Hitsugaya for some reason, possibly for his consistency at reliably slaying whatever uncontrollable demon Volker's summoned that day. Doesn't seem to mind getting in trouble with him, much to Hitsugaya's frustration.

Frequently nags Mercer about teaching him a thing or two about demon summoning since the Nocturne often uses demons on his mercenary jobs. Mercer finds him incredibly annoying and wonders how the hell something hasn't eaten the big idiot already.


Simon

Volker's "familiar" (read: assistant). He helps with drawing pentagrams and lighting candles and sacrificing small animals and the like. Y'know, basic satanic ritual stuff. He's not quite sure how he ended up saddled with the goofball Imperial, but considering that Volker knows way too much about things he probably shouldn't, the Longneck figures he'll stick around and learn what he can. Even if Volker drives him nuts along the way.

No one knows what his real name is, Volker just calls him that all the time and everyone else just seems to roll with it. Simon's gotten tired of trying to argue against it.

Frequently expresses his sympathies to Mercer whenever Volker stops by to pester him about demon things. Both of them have a running bet for how long it'll take before Volker summons something that bites an arm off.
