Biography
Clematis, Bringer of Abundance
Enthusiastic | Amiable | Hard-Working | Practical | Absent-Minded
Head Botanist, Second-in-Command
Mate: None
Children: None
From birth, Clematis's talent with plants was exceptional. Her parents fondly recall the morning they woke up to find a mulberry bush blooming right by the nest, with Clematis busily tending to it. The Gladekeeper had blessed her with extremely potent magic, and the little Spiral was more than happy to put it to use. The moment she was out of the nest, she was darting around the jungle, categorizing plant life, memorizing their appearance and names, and testing to see where they'd grow best. Recognizing her immense talent, her parents sent her off to the Light realm to study professionally. She hated every moment of it. She couldn't stand sitting still, reading dusty old textbooks. They had nothing to teach that she couldn't learn in the field. So she ran away. Her mother, a native of the Ice realm, had told her stories about it. A place where almost nothing could grow-that sounded like a challenge. Clematis knew she wanted to try something here, but what exactly she was going to do, she couldn't decide. That was, until word of a huge Guardian building some sort of dome in the middle of the tundra reached her. Curious, Clematis tracked down the Guardian and tried to ask about her intentions. The Guardian wouldn't respond at first, but Clematis was never a quitter, and eventually she wore her down. She learned the Guradian's name was Indrani, and she was going to build a biosphere-a little glass world within the much bigger world, in a place where little could thrive. Obviously, nothing could've been better for Clematis to hear. It took time and plenty of pestering, but eventually Indrani took her in as her second in command, and made her the head botanist. Clematis is the first to hear ideas from scientists who hope to preform experiments in the dome. If she approves it, it goes on to Indrani. She's usually very busy with her own work, but when she's free, she's more than happy to help others. She's Indrani's closest, most trusted comrade. She's always right behind her, often working alongside her. Some of her clanmates claim the two of them are a little too close. Whether or not this is actually the case is unknown, but Clematis goes awfully quiet when you start to pry... |
She DOES have feelings for Indrani. She doesn't know if Indrani feels the same, so she's never tried to act on them. Voice Sounds Like:Piper (Fallout 4) Theme Song: Last Tango in Clerkenwell |
