Goldenblood

Status: Alchemist

Goldenblood's father was a potionmaker, originally from the Plaguelands. Soul had been banished after his refusal to create potions of chaos, and thus found his way to the Lightbeam Ruins, where a Clan welcomed him.

Goldenblood was born after Soul had been established in the Ruins, hence his Light eyes. Soul taught his son the art of potionmaking, showing him how to brew elixirs of life and healing. But Goldenblood grew too curious. He experimented, producing dangerous concotions. He took one which altered his DNA, modifying his neucleotides. This change affected his health; he became mentally and emotionally unstable. His blood turned gold: the color of Gods' blood. He was sentenced to death, but he fled, terrified of what he'd turned into.

Soul had told him of his origins from the Plaguebringer's domain, and without anywhere else to turn, Goldenblood found his way to The Wandering Contagion. He lived without much of a reason, save only to understand what had happened to him, where he went wrong. His days were spent alone, confused. Mood swings were common, as were violent and destructive outbursts. Eventually all of the noise caught the attention of the Athanatos Rogue Clan. They found Goldenblood in a horrible state, emotions everywhere, very mentally unstable. They took him to Mystic and the healer, where he was able to get treatment and stabilize. Goldenblood now has a purpose, a Clan, a family.

Goldenblood's Augite Protector was assigned to help protect him--from himself. It was--is--more durable than a creature of flesh, able to withstand violent tantrums. Sure, it's got a few chips and scratches, but it's a small price to pay for Goldenblood's safety and security. Goldenblood's now more stable knowing he's got a constant companion and friend in Gryz.
