Sub-species story:
While nowadays, if you’re going to a midnight movie, it’s probably so you can see the very first showing of Trek Wars, or Transvengers, it used to be that the movies shown at midnight were the cheap B-movies that sometimes were eye-rollingly bad, and sometimes became Cult Classics (and sometimes both). So, this sub-species is a tribute to all of those low-budget films, from the monster film, to sci-fi, to fantasy.

The breed for this sub-species is Nocturne, because what breed but the one active during the longest night of the year would best represent midnight movies?

The primary gene for this species is Vipera, as a tribute to all of the great B-grade monster movies, from Gamera to Anaconda.

The secondary gene is Facet, for the occasional hidden gem to be found when watching these films, as well as for a fine Chicago theater that used to show cult classics on Saturdays at midnight.

The tertiary gene is either Circuit or Glimmer, to represent the Sci-Fi and Fantasy genres.

The acceptable colour variations are:
