As sturdy as the Autumn Birch

Arrived in the Clarus Clan on October 10, 2015

When he was born, he was named Monarch by his parents. Unlike his father before him, Monarch was not a quiet, shy hatchling but a hatchling with wide eyes, big dreams and an open heart. His father, however, was not able to give Monarch the encouragement he needed, and his mother was away traveling for so much of his childhood. Monarch was left behind, feeling stunted. He knew he was not abandoned, for his mother returned to the lair often, and his father meant well - but it was not enough for the young Imperial.

When Monarch was old enough, he decided it was time to leave his home in the Plaguelands. He would travel like his mother. Before long, he found himself in the northern Gladeveins, where he met a beautiful, intriguing Wildclaw. She went by the name of Allora, and she was happy to bring Monarch to her Clan, inviting him to stay with her. She was the Clan's teacher, and although she seemed quiet at first, Monarch soon learned that she was not afraid to talk, to debate and challenge him, teaching him new ways of seeing the world around them.
