Sunblaze

Character: Sunblaze is a very proud dragon and has a very direct personality, leading to quite a few conflicts. He is not very good with expressing his feelings and therefore will often be dumbfounded at the mess his tactlessness caused, being unable to properly clean it up again.

After courting Stargaze knowing Rapidwing's feelings for her perfectly well, he tried to convey to Rapid that he does not wish to be his rival, and that his relationship with her is simply a temporal breeding alliance. But unfortunate choice of words paired with his unrelentlessness in the matter provoked the stressed Rapid to seek refuge in attack. Completely baffled by the other dragon's sudden charge, Sunblaze would have been in for a no-holds-barred beatdown if not for the intervention of his clanmates, most of whom misunderstood Rapid to be the sole instigator of the incident. Ever since, Sunblaze bears an overwhelming sense of guilt towards Rapid and frets about how to resolve things between them, but unable to communicate his feelings properly, he finds himself avoiding the young dragon instead.
The whole incident has caused Sunblaze to be more aware of his choice of words and has rendered the usually unafraid dragon nearly incapable of communicating with strangers, out of fear to cause harm again.

Relationships:

Stargaze: She is Sunblaze's current breeding partner. They have a friendly, but slightly detached relationship, and barely talk about anything but their young.
Rapidwing: Ever since the aforementioned incident, the two dragons avoid each other, but Sunblaze is all but happy about this.
Raphael: Sunblaze loves his youngest son dearly, and even though he still struggles at being a father, he tries his best to be a good example to him. He is relieved that Raphael inherited his mothers sweet character and does not share his fathers lack of empathy.
