Longinus set upon the Dragonfly Clan one dark and stormy summer night, as was his habit. Primarily, his goal was to sneak in quietly, lay low, escape the fate bestowed upon him by his former clan and avoid becoming an Exaltee. Though to most, such a destiny would be considered the highest of honors, Longinus had other plans for his life.

Fighting, of course, was not an activity he shied away from. He had taken part in many battles since leaving his home lair and had the loot and a ship full of wares to show for it. And though he shined in battle, his aptitude for negotiation & trade was often the skillset for which he was most known.

In fact, the Dragonfly Clan's leaders had already heard of Longinus and his plight, which was surprising, as Longinus had only decided to make a quick pit-stop to test the waters of this somewhat crowded and friendly clan at the last minute. He knew that they already had a pirate amongst them, one he has met recently during a skirmish with some scoundrels from the Plague flight. Longinus hoped to look in on him, toss back some rum and catch up with the old Nocturne.

Upon his arrival, though, he was welcomed warmly and given the place of honor at the community meal. After dinner, Faith and Valor invited him to stay for as long as he liked while Dutchess and Baron offered him the use of their guest den.

Unaccustomed to such treatment, Longinus decided to stick around. Having traveled for so long, a rest and regularly scheduled meals were long overdue. Besides, he heard there was a great watering hole run by an exquisite, mysterious Ridgeback lass nearby and he was very, very thirsty.
