Jötunheimr's Lightning Ambassador
Smart, Persistent, Serious

Lany was always a tinkerer. She was brought up in a huge lair, with very little time for her to be an individual among all the others there. Her sense of individuality came from her tinkering and her intelligence.

Her creations were first noted when some of the mechanical clockwork animals she had made for fun out of scrap found their way to her father. At first her father, a very serious dragon, felt that they were a waste of time and she should get back to real work, until he realized just how hard it would be to make one of these.

She was quickly sent to one of the factories in The Shifting Expanse, where she worked with other mechanics and inventors to improve the efficiency of a huge variety of machines. While she was good at her job, she wanted to do other things and have control over what she made, and to take back the sense of individuality that she got from creating things.

So she left, and to fund her projects she signed up to be an ambassador for the Lightning flight. Jötunheimr now hosts the hard working genius, even giving her a small workshop to do as she pleases in. She fixes some of the pipes and acts as a mechanic when needed, but largely spends time alone crafting.

She only helps with Lightning dragons' matters when she absolutely must, and she always seems to be in a rush to solve them, but this is because Lany loves her work. She doesn't joke much with dragons due to her serious nature, but any dragon who spied upon her while she worked away would tell you about the joy they saw Lany feeling.
