Have you ever woken up in the middle of the night and had the feeling you weren't alone?Perhaps you felt like someone was there in the room with you,watching you? Maybe you were being watched by something not of this world...

What was and still is watching you is a Darkest Dream, or Nightmare as some prefer to call them. They say, or rather the people that have survived say, that a Darkest Dream is created from your fear. They feed off of the negative emotions when you have a dream that haunts you. They can take form as anything they choose, though most say they take form as clouds of swirling mist, and will enter your mind. They make it their job to terrorize you until you fear sleeping or go insane from your dreams. Some people say if you can befriend one it will protect you forever and you will never have a nightmare again. However, if you make one angry they will forever roam your dreamscape and create horrible things to help them destroy your dreams.

It is believed that a Darkest Dream was once a good memory of yours. It would come as a friend and be in your dreams to help you. However, their souls have darkened and their feelings towards you have become nothing but hatred ever since you forgot about them and moved on. They are so angered that they were cast aside for you to have new dreams that they forever hold a grudge against you and wish the worst things imaginable to the person that forgot them. At night they will show you many things in your dreams, some think that they will even show you your future that is only if you can survive the dreams they create...
