Biography

A majestic dragon from the lairs of earth, Zues is a battle hardened dragon. Hes very serious personality wise with anyone, no matter their age.

Long ago, on one of his missions Zues traveled nearly to the other side of the world, from earth into the depths of the Shifting Expance. Lightnight struck him from all round, being form earth it left a tickle on his scales but didnt scathe him otherwise. Without worry Zues continued his hike, roaming deeper into the vast lightning zone. His mission, to seak the lost runes of ice. He found what he searched, but though everything else failed to drop the mighty dragons th runes succeeded. He was struck along both sides, burnt into his flesh by pure freezing winds, he found the runes. He was weak, his side burned like wild fire. That was when he saw the glow. He had indeed found the ice runes, they replaced his scares of thylacine.

After taking a short time to heal Zues became big headed, his power had grown. Once only able to shift the earth under his feet, he was now able to control ice, but within limits. On his next mission Zues decided to venture to the Sunbeam Runes, he had plans to find runes of each color, legends told of bright glowing yellow runes, he sought them to add to his power. After weeks of walking Zues finally got to the legend cave that held the light runes safely. Unlike the Ice runes these light runes would not come to him, he tried over and over again without success. Growing angry Zues let out an agravated roar, from his mouth spring shards of ice and chilled breath. He jumped back, even having startled himself.

A few moments after the outcry a light dragon approached, introducing herself as BloodPearl. This Imperial, a female of his kind, he was to upset to see her kind intents, slashing with his claws he nearly struck her, she only backed up. This angered him, even he didnt understand why he became so upset with this vixen of a dragon, he struck again, missing by inches. Another roar escaped his lips as he chased after her, she continued to evade, eventually becoming angry she slashed out in response striking him into the dirt. For the second time in his life Zues had been put fisically into his place. The anger left him instantly and he curled into a ball with a huff. He refused to look at her until she spoke. Her voice was sweet and enchanting,

"Why do you fuss" She asked kindly, she had a strong accent but he couldnt tell where it was from. It didnt take long to realize that it wasnt an accent as much as she used her tongue like a snake when she spoke. This made his curl his eyebrows in curiosicty.

"I want the runes. Ive got one set I need them all. I want to be the best dragon, the most powerful!" He was still young, undetured by the unimagined.

She perked her eyebrow "You have one, you cannot get more runes silly dragon. The great gods of our lands made it so. Thats how it must be." She wouldnt explain further but eventually Zues followed her back to her lair. He decided this would be the place he must settle down. So many dragons, from all backgrounds were accepted here. He felt as though he might be of use in some way.

Before long Zues became the lair's blacksmith. He crafts the most beautiful armors, the strongest swords and toughest sheilds in the lands. Zues came to realize what BloodPearl meant. The gods wouldnt allow that much power in a simple dragon, with only one goal. And were it to happen the dragon wouldnt be the same ever again.

A few months after settling a dragon named Tsukuyomi approached his booth, asking for help to find his son. Out of three dragons sent, Zues found him. This is when he saw the effects of multiple elements bestowed on one dragon This dragon, his friends son, had figured it out. It was something he kept from his friend. This was something he would have to investigate himself. Old tendencies started to pop up again and Zues began to think about ways to control all of the elements.
