Arslan | Siragohid

Arslan has a rather mysterious background. He has no memory of his life before joining the Engake Clan. It is known that he is not the son of Astelle and Daryun, even though they raised him as if he were. And while he doesn't remember the day it happened, he knows that Astelle saved him from certain death in the Highland Scrub.

Humble and charismatic, many of his clanmates have come to see him as an honorable and trustworthy leader. He was not born the heir, but Malyah insisted that he may be better suited for the role than she. With the unanimous support of the Grakenin* and the grava, Astelle officially passed the crown to him, making him the first sirago of the Engake Clan. While he's unsure of whether or not he's worthy of the title of Siragohid, he always strives to do what's best for the clan.

Recently, Eriso discovered the identity of Arslan's true parents. Arkal and Heatherwisp reside with their clan within the Carrion Canyon. It is still unknown how Arslan wound up alone in the Highland Scrub at such a young age, though. Eriso also learned that Arslan has datajudari (22) brothers and sisters, but all of them have been Exalted to serve the various deities.

His familiar is a male Zalis named "Mujnah."

Since Edward has shown a great aptitude in physical combat, Arslan has taken quite an interest in the ula Yishikra. As a result, Edward has trained both Arslan and Malyah in claw-to-claw combat, and now helps to train new rutakaki.
