Diplomat of the Moon Clan and Mate to Runecaster "Welcome to the Moon Clan, stranger!"

Kyra, the only dragon in the Moon Clan to not have a two-part name, is the official Clan diplomat. She is in charge of welcoming newcomers and making sure everything runs smoothly in the Clan, which fits her naturally organized personality. She is also in charge of Clan relations, making sure no fights break out between the Moon Clan and other neighboring Clans.

However, she usually buries herself in her work, putting on a professional mask most of the time to hide her true insecurities and fears behind a happy, light tone. She has a lot riding on her shoulders and is somewhat OCD at times, which can makes her extremely stressful to the point of lashing out at her friends.

Despite her outward tone, she is very friendly and dragons seem drawn to her when she lowers her mask, and she is a great writer and storyteller. She also has an interest in the arts, carrying a sketchbook with her around the Clan's territory to sketch the scenery.

She and Runecaster met primarily on accident. Kyra was patrolling the Clan's borders one day when she spotted a lone Imperial on the edge of the territory. He donned a dark cloak and a hood covered his face.

She approached him cautiously, asking the rogue dragon what he was doing there. He spoke softly, his voice barely a whisper, replying that he was in need of shelter and food. She reluctantly agreed to his terms, warning the Imperial not to try anything. He nodded, staying silent, before they walked into the Hearth.

The dragon was clearly off-put by all the commotion in the marketplace, and Kyra decided to introduce herself. He listened to her, then said that his name was Runecaster. She brought him to Nightsong and Strongclaw, introducing him and saying that he was a wanderer in need of shelter. Rune still remained quiet, but he nodded as the Mirror leader asked if all this was true.

He found rest in a small cave on the outskirts of the Moon Clan, where he practiced his spellcasting. Kyra then tried being her friendly self to him, but she couldn't seem to get him to lower his mask. But the two dragons did eventually grow closer together, with Runecaster more willing to spend time with Kyra than anything else, and vice versa.

One day, Runecaster and Kyra went out on a hunting trip together, where, outside the Clan, Rune confessed that he was in love with her. It was then that Kyra finally saw his true side, and she said that she loved him, too.

Weeks later, when they were now faithful mates, Runecaster surprised her with a green and white scarf, something that she still wears to this day.
