Timid and easily startled

Archie left home to go on his own adventure, but quickly found that adventure did not suit him at all. He's much too timid for the thrills that traveling alone presented. He found himself in the little clan one day when they needed a handyman. He offered to help out and over the next few days he ended up helping a bit of everyone fix up their stuff. Before he knew it, he'd become part of the community and well liked. He's still the handyman around town, fixing machines and doing maintenance as needed.

Timid and easily startled

Hatched five minutes after his brother, Archie always relied on the other for instruction and protection. Often forgotten at meal times due to his own timid nature, the nocturne would have starved as a hatchling if not for Leon. Archie idolised is imperial brother but always felt as if he was a burden to him. But their closeness began to change when the young dragons discovered they were the offspring of famous adventurers and explorers (or infamous if you asked the right dragon). This revelation about their parents was a shock to Archie. He felt that the stories about them were embellished and distasteful. This left him strangely alientated from his brother who began to daydream about the day their mother and father would return. The thought made Archie uneasy, but he could never have known just how fateful that day would be.

From the moment Canale and Preveza returned to the Bastion, Archie was forever separated from his brother. The imperial idolised their father, hanging of every word and look with awe. In contrast, Archie felt determined to avoid the seemingly dangerous dragons of the Viglight Sabers, especially their parents. Wandering the Bastion alone trying to stay out of the way, he was taken on by the easy-going Hyas as an assistant in the maintenance and repair of the fortress.

The final blow to his relationship with is brother came when their parents once again set out into the world. Archie saw the look in his borther's eyes as Canale's mighty figure vanished on the horizon and he knew in his heart that his brother would soon leave the Bastion to seek his own story. Saddened by the thought of losing the only member of his family he had ever cared for, Archie decided that remaining behind would be too painful. Thanking Hyas for his guidance Archie packed his meagre belongings and set out on the road leading away from the Bastion without a word of parting with Leon.
