Biography
Zarathustra moved forward through the tent flap as the dragon in front of him completed his interview and exited.
“Name?” The white imperial in all white armor asked without looking up. The blue imp
in very ornate silver and blue, watched his approach.
“Zarathustra.” He said as he stopped in front of the table.
The white looked up. “Zara…?”
“thu-stra.”
“Zarathustra.” He repeated. “A very unique name. Where is it from?” His voice softened, as his boredom was interrupted by something new.
“Its origin is a Little Fuzzy.”
“I see.”
Zarathustra smiled, because he knew that he didn’t.
“I am Banquo, Commander of the Inverness Imperial Guard the clan’s elite unit. This is Ahmis. He is the the Captain of the Lulungomeena Defense Force.” Ahmis inclined his head slightly.
Banquo continued. “Well, you’ve obviously seen our posting. Tell us about yourself and how we can benefit from your addition to our clan.”
He did. After, Ahmis seemed pleased, but Banquo was skeptical.
“Zara, May I call you Zara?” He nodded. “Zara, you have a good attitude. One that would fit well in our clan and even the Guard. But, I’m concerned with your lack of eliminate training.
All in the IIG are eliminate trained.” He turned to Ahmis. “Perhaps somewhere in the LDF?
I would hate to lose a good candidate.”
Ahmis nodded. “I’m certain I can find a spot , but are you sure about him not being Guard material?”
“I assure you, sirs. I will do whatever it takes to succeed.”
“But, you do not have eliminate.” Banquo said apologetically.
“Ban, he’s primarily an archer. He is melee second. If you were to bring him on, it would free up Chenn from being a primary archer and allow him to go back to his forte, melee. Archers do not need eliminate.”
Banquo was silent and Zarathustra tried to not show any emotion.
“Okay, you make a good point. Zarathustra, we will give you a trial period. Show me that you are Imperial Guard material and you’re in. If not, you’ll be Ahmis’ problem.”
Pleased, Zarathustra thanked him and thanked Ahmis for his support.
“Perfectly alright Zara, If you convince Banquo that you are worthy. Then I look like a genius for suggesting you . If not, I get to place you under my command. Win, win either way this works out for me.”
Banquo shook his head and grinned slightly. “Zara, see Ionith, she’s the white tundra just out side, and she’ll give you all the information you will need. Congratulations.”
“Welcome to Inverness.” Ahmis added.
