Biography
Arian
treasurer | "golden life"
treasurer | "golden life"
Arian can be described in one word: conceited. They look gorgeous, and they know it. Any opportunity to show off is taken with glee, and if they catch you staring, they'll make sure to give you a show. As the clan's treasurer, they are in charge of guarding funds, but if given the chance they'll spend it all on themself. They even had a doll made in their image. Their impulsive nature often gets them in trouble, and more than once they've found themself in a bind from spending too much or throwing themself at someone's claws. Close relationships don't come easy to them, perhaps due to the fact that they tend to be absorbed in themself. So, they compensate by latching onto anyone that will give them the time of day. And who wouldn't want such a beautiful dragon hanging off their wing? Most dragons, actually. The only dragon that seems to stay by their side is Molan, and Arian can't understand why. Molan is just the right amount of reserved and lovely that makes others admire him from afar. Arain would never admit that they find him almost (if not more) beautiful than themself. Surprising, they're not one to gossip. Most dragons are shocked by this, because they seem like the type that would live and breathe gossip. But Arian hates to talk bad about others, mainly because they fear that others will talk bad about them. They would never admit that it's one of their biggest fears. When Arian is in a low mood, they'll perch up in the cracks of the cave's walls, looking down on their clanmates from afar. Usually, they can't hear what is going on, but they have a clear view of everyone's comings and goings. They watch Ichigo tending to the familiars, Eser working in the library, Vigan brewing in their cauldron, anything and everything that goes on. And it makes them sad, because they feel separated from the clan. They feel out of place, because surely no one would want to be friends with such a self-centered dragon. No one could love someone like Arian. But that's where they're wrong, because plenty of dragons enjoy their company. Their dramatic, over the top way of reacting to things is endearing to most, not annoying. And many dragons admire the way they think so highly of themself, even if it's a little off-putting sometimes. As for being loved, well, a certain spellcaster has had his eye on the Fae for a long time. Sometimes when Arian is hiding away and dragon watching, Molan will fly up to their perch and settle in next to them. The two hardly speak a word. No words need to be said. Molan will scoot in closer, and lay a wing across the Fae's back. And Arian will feel safe and wanted, if only for a little while. They think everything will be alright.

"Arian is a feast for the eyes, certainly. What glorious coloration, what exquisite genes! One might think the purple of his eyes is a bit clashy, but it nicely contrasts with the gold and black. His apparel is elegant, and compliments him just enough to not take away from his natural patterns. However, his temperament is a bit... Off-putting."
