All around me is colour and light,
I alone am black and white.
Black and white and shades of grey,
alone in the dark in the midst of day.

Nodody knows that i am blind.
Disguised in colour, i give no sign.
I put on noise, i hide my mind,
I laugh, i smile; they think I'm fine.

All she knows is the sound of her voice inside her head. All she sees is grey. She tries to cry out for help, but no one can hear her silent screams. No matter how loud she cries, no one is there to dry her tears. No matter what she does, she still feels lonely and isolated.

Eriathwen was was born completely blind. It's rumored her egg was touched by the shade before she hatched and her parents had abandoned her to save themselves from the shame.

Eriathwen is constantly trying to bring happiness and colour into everyone's life, while her's is clouded over with fake smiles. Despite facing all her problems alone, Eriathwen makes sure no dragon ever has to feel the same way she does. No matter how hard things get, she never complains or moans about her problems to the others, in fact Soridormi is usually the one that has to force things out of her when she won't admit that something is bothering her.

She just doesn't want to be any more of an burden than she already thinks she is.
