Morphe's role in the clan has always been one of great importance, being the clan's first protector when it was young and vulnerable. He is fiercely protective of its now many members, and no one within the clan can hold a talon to his battle skill.
Despite this reputation, he is not emotionally distant or cold, being known as one of the most caring dragons in the clan. This is especially apparent surrounding his immediate family, consisting of his mate Chroma, his daughter Thousand, and his elk-familiar Raemus.
He and Chroma have one of the tightest and longest-lasting bonds in the clan, and Chroma isn't afraid of being openly physically affectionate, one of her favourite past times being massaging Morphe's fins.
Thousand and Morphe are a monstrous duo when it comes to seeing each other again after any amount of time, their immediate reaction is to playfully rough house, causing quakes for any smaller dragons and creatures in their jubilation.
And then comes the tenderest care Morphe has for Raemus. The aging elk wouldn't be the most obvious choice of familiar for a dragon like Morphe. Because of the creature's impressive antlers, Morphe is often the one to help support them when Raemus shows weariness with bearing them.
