Elemental Fighter
Vhendy excels in creating intricate spells and has a firm grasp on all types of biology and anatomy details. Out of all the clan members, he is the most formidable when it comes to elemental and transformation spells. He has a few tricks in dealing with the inconvenience that is a tundra's memory. His books and scrolls often are coupled with scented trinkets or bottled scents that he interacts with as he reads them. That way if he needs to recall some specific information, he smells the corresponding item to trigger his memory. Numerous scrolls and charts are also mounted to his walls, which he, at the very least, will skim every day to keep his memory fresh. He constantly practices his spells and keeps vague notes of his research with scented spots to access the wealth of information inside his head related to each key term.
He is very blunt when it comes to his preferences and feelings toward others. If he hates you, he'll state it. If the bread at a tavern is under-cooked, he'll let them know if asked. He rarely hides his feelings and is pretty expressive. He is also not easily cowed.
When it comes to responses to different situation, Vhendy tends to do what is unexpected from societies. For example, if a house is burning with an unfamiliar family caught inside, he won't help them. If someone in front of or near him is dying and desperately needs aid, he's just going to continue on his way if he does not know them nor deems them worth the trouble. This is not so much done because he's a heartless, cruel and completely indifferent creature, he just isn't willing to endanger himself or waste his resource on someone/something he doesn't know, like, or appears not worth his time or effort. If confronted about this, he'll probably respond with a blunt or sarcastic response like “So you want me to bring myself into the possibility of annihilation or weakness for someone who I've never met nor will probably ever meet again? What will my aid bring later? Oh, a heartfelt thanks? Oh my, isn't that such a helpful and useful reward that I can definitely use later! I'm not about to cause myself lifelong damage or be maimed just to help some trivial creatures who will never bring anything worth the potential injury.”. He's believes it's important to keep stock of your inventory and be aware that at any moment having some material could drastically affect a situation.
Of course, he is more inclined to help creatures he does know moderately or like, but not completely. If he is well aware that they can handle their own problems or come out with no life-threatening injuries, he'll leave them be. He does not believe in solving others' problems for them and instead prefers them to be taken care of by the individual and will just be lightly condescending or blunt with the person whose unwilling to do things themselves and instead hopes others will do it for them. Helping and encouragement are one thing, carrying out a task is another. He does not demand nor seethe at others when their assistance isn't given to him when he needs it, such as the situations stated above. If a stranger sees him in peril and obviously doesn't help/leaves, he won't hold it against them nor be too bothered by it because it fits his way of thinking about things like that (stated as such above). This doesn't apply completely to his sister though.At the most he'll either be emotionally hurt, stung or irritated if she leaves him be on purpose.
Now when Vhendy is well acquainted and close to someone, his loyalty and affection for them is fierce and apparent. This will be the people he will always aid when they need it, be there for when they're inflicted (whether it be depression, assistance needed or sickness), and place above others. There are very, very few individuals that he ranks into these positions, and it takes quite a lot to get there. However no one, absolutely no one, comes above his sister, Blorp.
Fashion can be a fickler for Vhenderikhen. Vhendy prefers to go for higher class things. Of course, he does keep in mind what to avoid when money or resources is limited, but when possible, he likes fine things with interesting baubles. Fluffy, covering, decorated, et cetera are his favorites. Now when it comes to his mane, he rarely goes for less. He loves his hair and spends a lot of time on it, keeping it soft, brushed, untangled and arranged in different ways. It's not uncommon for him to change the way it's set or styled often, as long as the method doesn't harm it in any way. He is also a little finicky about the size of his clothes. Tight, clinging clothes are absolutely unacceptable. He prefers loose, hanging or comfortably/proportionally large outfits that he has room to maneuver with, such as his large sweaters and baggy pants. This is because he feels very, very uncomfortable and vulnerable without large items obscuring his form. He feels exposed and becomes very paranoid and nervous, as though he has no defenses. This stems from associating strength with someone else in his childhood.
