Biography

AVALON
Exalt Trainer

Avalon hails from the deepest part of the Sea of a Thousand Currents, Leviathan Trench. It was there where she started training herself early in her life, learning survival and strength from the raging waters and mysterious depths. As a hatchling she heard many stories about Sornieth's past, from the world's forming to the fateful destruction of the world pillar. Something about it always struck a chord with her; The way the deities came together to fight off the ultimate evil inspired her. 'Of course, the Shade is defeated and long gone now,' Avalon had always been told. But something told her otherwise... The way certain creatures attacked without reason, the way some dragons seemed to completely lose themselves to an unknown force, the way dread settled in her stomach whenever she saw these things... Avalon decided she could no longer be an idle spectator. The Shade was a bigger threat than the dragons of Sornieth realized, and she was determined to help as best she could. She left her birthplace, armed with her combat skills and determination, in order to begin her campaign against evil in the world.

Avalon emerged out of the waves for the very first time off the coast of the Scarred Wastelands. In her search for a place to stay, she soon found many Plague clans were unwelcoming to newcomers; In the harsh landscape of the Wandering Contagion, there isn't much of anything to spare. The only clan that allowed the skydancer to stay was the Clan of the Plaguebearers, led by the fierce yet surprisingly welcoming Stahli. There Avalon was able to settle down, and she soon found a job that suited her: Exalt trainer. Whenever a dragon destined to serve under the Plaguebringer passes through the clan, they are assigned to Avalon to be trained in order to better serve their deity. If she can't fight the Shade herself, she figures that assisting the gods who can is just as helpful. She seems to specialize in fighting the spirits in the Ghostlight Ruins, so that is where the majority of her training takes place.

Avalon is a warrior, and possesses the qualities of one. She is pious and worships all the deities who rule over Sornieth, although the majority of her prayers go to the ruler of her birthplace, the Tidelord. She doesn't say much and those who don't know her well would describe her as cold, although she does shows her affection towards others, just in subtle ways. She cares about the safety of all of her clanmates... Most of them, that is. Shortly before Avalon came to the clan, another skydancer by the name of Hawthorne arrived. His blackened limbs and bouts of what could be described as possession pointed to one thing. Although the clan healers, Sapphira and Mauve, work tirelessly to try and heal him, Avalon doesn't trust the Shade-infected dragon one bit. He still has control of himself, and Stahli made Avalon vow to not hurt him, but she still wishes for every trace of the Shade to be eliminated from Sornieth, and if worst comes to worst, she won't hesitate to protect her clan against it...
Familiar: Aequor ; Seawater Savior
A silent companion, Aequor has followed Avalon ever since she was a young dragon. Nobody has ever heard them speak, but Avalon seems to have the ability to understand them regardless. She believes that Aequor was sent by the Tidelord himself in order to help her mission, although she doesn't know for sure-The only proof she has is the Water rune carved into their shell. Aequor often follows Avalon on training missions in the Ghostlight Ruins and fights alongside with her, protecting her and the exaltees as needed.
