True Familiar

Personality: While neither the most physically imposing dragon in Clan Brayuh nor the most charismatic, Aaron is notable for his intelligence, creativity, and resilience. He is no less strong or competent than his peers, but his is a quiet sort of strength that shines brightest in times of adversity. Never one to let a situation overwhelm him, no matter how dire, he keeps a cool head and makes decisions as calmly and rationally as he can. This tenacity has earned him something of a reputation as an astute problem solver, and won him a decent degree of respect from the leaders of the clan.

History: Aaron, his mate, and his siblings- Eleanor, Theodore, and Seamus- once made up their own small clan in the Viridian Labyrinth, a clan that they called "Dun." Clan Dun was small, but tightly knit, and had held it's territory for at least three generations. However, during a particularly fierce dominance battle between the Nature and Water flights, Dun was forced out of its territory by a much larger water clan called Tobiano, and with all the neighboring lands claimed they were eventually forced to flee their flight's ancestral homeland altogether.

As the eldest sibling, Aaron had been the leader of Clan Dun since the death of their father, and he did his best to guide his siblings and his mate away from the Labyrinth and to a place where they could be safe. When his sister Eleanor was separated from the group by a particularly nasty winter storm, he was determined to find her, resolute that no one would be left behind with as much as their family had lost already. He eventually found her, having been taken in injured but alive by a friendly Ice clan, and even having fallen in love with one of the dragons there.

After some discussion with the clan's leader, Belial, Aaron and the others decided to merge Clan Dun to Belial's clan, Brayuh, in the hopes that their greater numbers would afford both sides better security. Thanks to his leadership experience, Aaron eventually took on the job of supervising the clan's resource gathering, and proved to be extremely efficient as a manager.

Love Life: To call the relationship between Aaron and Stephanie "love" is a bit of a misnomer. Theirs was a mating based upon mutual respect and the hopes to seal an alliance between Clan Dun and Stephanie's birth clan. When the Duns were forced to abandon their territory, she chose to go with them out of bitterness towards her birth clan for not honoring the agreement. Aaron and his mate may not be in the throws of a high romance, they are nonetheless loyal to one another and support each other in times of strife.
