Plumber and Breeding Pair

Joined Clan Diamond Dust 3/20/16

Charge: None yet

Swallowtail joined Clan Diamond Dust from from Caspar #106764 - a Water Clan living in a Venerable Lair of the Leviathan Trench. She heard that the clan was finally adding breeding pairs and wanted to take a spot for herself before they were all filled. Ideally, the clan wanted the hatchlings to be trained to serve their deity, but she soon realized that they were laid back and willing to let the hatchlings explore the world, if they wished.

Since she didn't bring a mate with her, the Guardian entered into correspondence with a Mirror who was interested in moving there. Fortunately, they got along extremely well - Azure was very mellow for a Mirror - and decided to stay in the clan as mates. It helped that he noticed and complimented her beauty - she was a bit vain about her beautiful coloring and butterfly wings - but also that he liked her for her personality.

She could be a little mopey that she didn't find her Charge yet, but tried not to let Azure know how worried she was. Swallowtail was convinced that she needed to be in Clan Diamond Dust, but the problem was the timing of it... So, she waited. And waited.

In the meantime, she was happy with her mate, Azure, and enjoyed raising hatchlings that would go on to explore the world. To keep herself busy, she became the clan's plumber. Yes, it was a bit of an odd profession choice, especially for someone who was vain about her looks and didn't like getting dirty. However, given the element of her birth, her magical abilities naturally gravitated towards water and she enjoyed the challenge of working on the plumbing in a place where the water naturally froze. Of course, she had to enlist the help of Fire dragons often, but Swallowtail made sure the water kept running.

And there was an amazing amount of water in a place where it was normally frozen. Kaia had made sure the marine familiars had extensive habitats built. Plus there were the greenhouses. And the kitchen. And the bathrooms. Swallowtail was far busier than she anticipated, as she was responsible for the upkeep of the aging system. (The clan had initially worked together to install the piping and it required little maintenance when they first moved into their lair, but as it received use, it seemed like there was always something minor to do to prevent major problems.)
