HEarD YoU WerE tAlKin sH*T AND YOU DIDN'T THINK I WOULD HEAR IT

Three shadows appear in the sky, approaching fast. Circling on the outer borders of the Clan of the Fallen Stars territory for a few minutes, they finally touch down near the shoreline. It’s an odd trio. The earth shakes slightly as the pale Imperial’s paws touch the ground. His bright red eyes reflect the light of the setting sun. The Imperial’s unlikely companions are a male Pearlcatcher, clad in full body armor, who is as dark as the Imperial is fair, and a brightly gold-colored male coatl who is clutching a sealed envelope. His green eyes search the shoreline while his companions set some leather satchels onto the ground. Finally, the coatl approaches what seems to be a cave located in a small cliff. He is greeted friendly by the residents and hands the envelope over. Shaking his head apologetically, he immediately retreats and the three dragons lunge themselves from the cliff, relying on the upwind to catch their fall.
The letter reads as follows:

My dearest AloeVerra,

I hope you and your Clan are still well and safe in your underground caverns. Those are dark times we are living in. Last night the Gladekeeper’s voice rumbled through the forest, waking us from our sleep. She has been silent for decades, and now she spoke twice within a few weeks. My mate Antafes is eager to please her, but I advise caution. Thankfully, most of the Clan agree with me. But we heard rumors that yet another heinous monstrosity has been sighted in the Sunbeam Ruins, an Emperor. Can you believe it? I’m doubtful, especially since my source tells me he only has three heads. Nevertheless, I have sent out our most powerful Mage Fujin (who as an Imperial himself has a great interest in the matter), the Night Warrior Stormlight (from a respectable bloodline of warriors, I recommend them highly to you) and our senior scout Amber (should they have to go into hiding in the wilderness) to investigate. I sincerely hope this rumor is only just a rumor. If not, I hope that great beast really cannot fly. Otherwise we are all in terrible danger.
But my sources also tell me that due to the new volcanic island off the Ashfall Waste’s coast, the currents have carried some poisonous dissolved sulfuric acids and other pollutants to your shores and you are struggling to catch enough fish and mussels. Thus, I have asked my brave scouts to make a detour and deliver some food. I hope this helps until the volcanic activity ceases.

one being that Aloe, loves to explain just how far Rapture's come when people get pissy about his antisocial/unleader like behavior
Aloe won't let people rub Rapture's name or reputation in the dirt

So, Rapture is Asexual right and idk *** romatic he is

He doesn't like be touched in romantic ways at all

So basically, Aloe found Rapture out wanting by himself carrying things home and kind of followed him
He was not friendly but he didn't turn around and chase her off
Until she tried to get into his , at that point, tiny whole in the ground
Only to calm down a little when she didn't try to hurt him back
They kinda just awkwardly chilled in the same house for a while
Begin the process of basically domesticating a antisocial hermit
Wasn't easy
As Rapture was very much defensive and hostile when his space was violated
Aloe has scars from where she over estimated her boundaries
But he wasn't mindless about it
Like, he had a brain and common sense
But after living for years by himself and having almost everything try to kill him, he was hardwired to not trust anything or anyone
That hardwired is still very much a thing
But aloe is the reason others didn't just turn and run from the clan
Cause they certainly would've
And eventually he opened up and began to trust Aloe. One of the few things he's ever had and stuck around
Now I'm not sure how to explain the romance, probably a one sided crush or something. If you an call it that. More like a curiosity, that never lead anywhere.

Cause he does get jealous of Ivory for some reason he doesn't understand.
But is confusing in what way
He's just, Rapture is just a mess.

Aloe still loves him very much, but I think it's as friend a very close family friend who is pretty much just considered family

Aloe is the actual leader let's be real. She actually does everything lol.

Rapture just has the title really

Aloe probably comes from a war clan or a buddist type super peaceful religious family
As she has red marks, either dyed or tattooed on her permanently
I thought of a warm ink type liquid is dumped on younger individuals for some type of ceremony and it changes color and pattern based on the individual
Aloe was probably banished, left of her own accord or was sent on a mission and just never returned
This idea tied into another. Rapture is infertile. Let that sink in, now allow yourself to think that there's a possibility that Aloe used him as cover or something
