Belongs To LittleRogue Carefree | Mothering | Friendly "I have had a vision" Neptune boomed from his scrying room, a pearlcatcher posed at his side with quill and parchment. "The wind dragon has been found, she wanders the edge of the twisting crescendo, we shall leave at once" The skydancer sat and watched the twisting air, watching the currents it created paint a picture in the sky. Kites flew in the distance and young dragons could be heard signing in the distance. She sighed. The clans here kept away from her fearful of her power. Storms would appear when she got upset, whole lairs had been destroyed by accident. She wandered alone now, hatchlings had been taught to keep their distance, the more adventurous once trying to see how close they could get before they got scared. she glanced at the sky before she left her spot, gathering her few things ready to take to the air. There was a thud behind her. A guardian stood, a smile on his face. "No get back"She yelled, he showed no fear as he grew closer "I'll hurt you" Tears trickled down her cheeks as he stopped in front of her. "No" He murmured, delicately lifting her face so he could she her eyes "I'm here to help" She collapsed at his feet, sobbing as he enveloped her i his wings. The air twisted around them, picking up rocks and sticks and hurling the objects towards them. He stayed still, waiting until she had finished crying and the air had calmed |

"There are others like us" He whispered "there is a place that we can call home, that nobody fears us" She shook her head "I've tried to have a home, it doesn't end well" She looked at him, his eyes held hope, affection even for her, she didn't want to believe it possible. "You can always leave if you don't like it, but trust me" He smiled "It will be worth it" She nodded, glancing at the twisting crescendo one last time before taking to the air at his side. There was a banner hanging at the lairs entrance with, to her surprise, her name delicately painted. Mountains of food had been set out, flowers were everywhere and what looked like the whole clan waiting to welcome her. She looked up at the guardian, who simply motioned for her to go inside "Welcome!" The clan yelled in unison, an unseen bard started playing music, and who she assumed to be their leader came forward to greet her. |

"Welcome to the Bonewood Refuge" The wildclaw stood proud, a soft smile on her lips, "You will always find a home here, no matter what you think" The skydancer glanced around, everyone looked happy, no-one was scared of her, even with the strong breeze now present in the room "H-how?" She stuttered. The wildclaw motioned the guardian beside her "Neptune can see other like him, those with power that need a safe haven, we provide a home to any who need it, no matter their circumstances" He nodded "I told you there we other like us, I know that as a fact" She smiled, laughing, "Well, I guess we will see how this turns out" And dived into the clan, chatting with everyone late into the night, eventually falling asleep by the guardians side, feeling happy and safe for the first time in her memory. |
