Cedar is a kind Tundra and the leader of the clan. In truth, however, he really isn't that powerful of a leader. While he is the "official leader", the Imperial dragon Vitra tends to control things when they get out of hand. She can obviously be seen as a true leader, but everything runs smoothly enough so no one complains.

He truly isn't the smartest of dragons, and in typical Tundra fashion he's quite forgettable. Vitra and Sage usually handle things, while Phi records history and happenings because of Cedar's nature. While this gets irritating to most, no one really questions him.

Not being the wisest, Cedar can be too trusting and accepting. This usually comes in the form of regular visitors Anne and Zhalee. While not part of the clan, the two will seek shelter with the Burrow. Being pirates, the two aren't the best guests and will even take treasure, which, much to the clan's irritation, he will turn a blind eye to. No one has taken to stopping him, however.

Cedar is a very gentle tundra, warm and cosy in an especially fluffy pelt. He wouldn't hurt a fly and tends to refuse battles and skirmishes. He likes comforting others in their time of need and is very protective. More accurately he may actually be over-protective. Sort of the type to tape pillows onto baby dragons.

He enjoys children quite a lot and is very playful when it comes to them, letting them even tackle him no matter how big they may be. Cedar is a big cuddler and very soft to the touch. He takes care of himself well, though puts others before himself. This can go to an extreme, to a point where he's unhealthy. He's extremely loyal to his clan and loves them all very much.

Cedar is interested in the art of healing and often spends time with Sage, the medicinewoman. He tries to be a helper when it comes to herbs, though often he gets in the way. However, he's quite skilled with emotional comforting and won't hesitate to act as a therapist to any dragon, whether in his clan or not.

His familiar Root is always hiding in Cedar's mane and will pop out every now and then to interact with others. Like Cedar, Root tries to be very helpful ( but unlike him really is). The two are absolutely inseparable.
