Behind the mask of ice that people wear, there beats a heart of fire

Iceflame never meet her birth parents. She was abandoned in the Southern Icefield alone when she was still in her egg.

One day, an old female mirror stumbled along Iceflame's egg as she was hunting for her clan. The mirror was kind and gladly took the egg back to her clan. When Iceflame hatched a few days after, everyone marveled at the young mirror and gave her the name Iceflame due to her ice coloring and fierce, fiery nature. Iceflame was oblivious to her past and didn't mind being the only hatchling her age. She was fierce and never turned down a challenge. The older hatchlings immediately took advantage of this and made her do bad things. They had her steal from other clan members and annoy most of them to the point of avoiding her. As she grew older she became aware of what exactly she had been doing and how it made her clan mates feel.

One day Iceflame got into an argument with the clan leader's son and he let it slip that Iceflame wasn't from the clan and had been lied to her entire life. Iceflame became furious at this. She pounced on the little prince and inflicted grave wounds on him. Then she turned her anger on the old mirror who had pretended to be her mother for so long. The clan leader was enraged but said they would forgive Iceflame if she apologized and made up for her actions. Iceflame, still furious, spat that she would never apologize as her actions were justified. She jumped into the air and left the territory.

Arriving at a mountain in the Cloudscrape Crags region of the Southern Icefield, she ran across a male tundra named SkyFire. Driven into a cave due to the storm raging around them, the two began to talk and share pasts, becoming closer as the storm continued on. Once it ended, they found a nice area at the bottom of the mountain and claimed it as a nice place for a lair. Eventually, they created Storm clan, named after the storm that had lead to it's creation. They welcomed almost every dragon who came across their territory who were looking for new permanent clans.

One day, the Icewarden called for dragons to serve at his fortress. Brave dragons in the clan volunteered to answer him. None knew how to get to his fortress, however, except for SkyFire. Offering to lead them there, he promised Iceflame that he would return. However, weeks and weeks passed yet no signs of the tundra were ever spotted. As time continued, rage and bitterness at his false promise built up.

Leaving the clan to be run by her successor Acal, she stayed in her den for days on end, never once leaving, Acal and Nightcrystal bringing her food and taking care of both her and the clan. Eventually, the anger having built up, she lashed out, storming into the library, intent on destroying ever trace of SkyFire. Nightcrystal and Acal found her though and stopped her. Shoving aside her memories of the tundra, she began a new and reclaimed her position as leader.
